County eyes buying motor graders

Although Upshur County Commissioners Court took no action Monday on the possible purchase of three motor graders and three backhoes to be leased through a Wichita Falls entity, the court indicated it might consider the matter later. The annual March for Jesus is coming to Olney again Saturday, Oct. 4. This year's march features the theme "How Bright is Your Light?" Line-up begins at 10:30 a.m. on S. Ave. C by Tommy Perkins Memorial Park and the parade starts at 11 a.m. The parade route will move from the part to Main Street, then west to Ave. J. Participants will turn south on Ave. J and then east on Hamilton Street. They will continue east to the First Baptist Church parking lot, where a special exhibition will be put on by the Wichita Falls Glory Bound Motorcycle Association drill team.
