Police Search for Burglary Suspect

The Wichita Falls Police Department are on the lookout for a suspect who's accused of breaking into the 9th Street laundromat on November 6th around 1:15 a.m. An employee found that a back door had been broken into, and that the ATM had been tampered with. A laptop and MP3 player were found to be missing, and there was damage to the alarm system.

Six-Day "Ride Texas" Comes to and End in Corpus Christi

More than 20 warriors on wheels made their way to Corpus Christi Tuesday after riding for almost a week in the six-day long "Ride Texas" event. The combination of combat veterans and their supporters left Wichita Falls six days ago and rode through several towns and cities on their way to the Coastal Bend, including Fort Worth, Waco, Austin and San Antonio.

Traffic Stop Leads to Drug Arrest

On Tuesday, November 11th, Wichita Falls police officers conducted a traffic stop on a blue Dodge Pickup in the 2300 block of Speedway. During a search of the vehicle, officers located 7.8 grams of methamphetamine, 3 Xanax pills and 1 Soma pill in 33-year-old Christina Lazo's possession.

One woman was rushed to the hospital after being hit by a car in Wichita Falls Friday evening. Police say a person was driving on Holliday around 7:00 p.m. in the area near McGregor and 22nd St. A woman was walking along the street and the driver didn't see her and struck her with the vehicle.
