More funding doesn't necessarily have to come from the city for Victoria Transit to be successful and continue to serve a growing demographic that takes city buses. Most of the Transit's funds come from federal and state grants, said Lisa Cortinas, director of transportation services at the Golden Crescent Regional Planning Commission.

Wichita Falls, TX - On Sunday, Texoma received its first snowfall of the winter season and it was not very long before it created some trouble for drivers on the roadways. Wichita Falls Police responded to an accident on Kell East Freeway from Barnett Road to McNeil Avenue which backed up roads for about an hour to an hour an a half.

United Robbery Suspect Captured

On Friday, November 14th, the Wichita Falls Police Department investigated two separate Aggravated Robbery reports, that both occurred at United Supermarkets gas pumps using handguns. The first robbery occurred around 6:30 p.m. at the United on Fairway, and the second robbery occurred around 8:30 p.m. at the United on Iowa Park Road.
