He further said some people "who are morally good" won't make it to heaven, while some whose morals aren't as good will make it because they have accepted Christ as the son of God. Ed Stetzer , missiologist and president of Lifeway Research, wrote, "People talk about " faith " or describing someone as a 'person of faith.'

The university's Presidential Search Advisory Committee, comprised of twelve individuals including members of the Board of Regents and representatives of the students, faculty, staff, alumni, and the greater Wichita Falls community, met with our consultants from Academic Search and began the process of reviewing and screening the applications of 53 candidates from a national applicant pool for the position of President of Midwestern State University. Eleven candidates were invited for interviews by the advisory committee.

Wichita Falls, TX- A North Texas man accused of killing his two sons is set to appear in a Tarrant County courtroom Tuesday. In April of 2011, Young County Sheriffs said Gabriel Armandariz called 911 and told dispatchers he killed his two sons, but would not tell authorities where their bodies were located.

Tuesday morning, the Wichita Falls City Council amended the budget of the Economic Development Corporation to include up to $928,800 for the expansion of the Eagle Railcar Services Expansion Project.

Suspect Arrested for Assault on a Peace Officer

On Wednesday morning, around 11 a.m., a patrol officer with the Wichita Falls Police Department observed a white 2014 Dodge 1500 pickup parked at a local car wash in the area of Ridgeway and Iowa Park Rd. The officer recognized the vehicle as a possible stolen vehicle that was reported out of Vernon, Texas. When the officer approached the vehicle, he found that it was occupied by one white male, who was later identified as 27-year-old Marvin Sharp.

The Wichita Falls Police Department arrested a woman after an audit revealed a hefty amount of cash missing from a Wichita Falls car dealership. Police say 39-year-old Ladonna Lashelle Adams is charged with theft over $1500.

He's among about 45 Iwo Jima veterans who plan to return to the island to mark the 70th anniversary of the World War II amphibious landing, Feb. 19, 1945.
