He further said some people "who are morally good" won't make it to heaven, while some whose morals aren't as good will make it because they have accepted Christ as the son of God. The Search for MSU's President Continues
The university's Presidential Search Advisory Committee, comprised of twelve individuals including members of the Board of Regents and representatives of the students, faculty, staff, alumni, and the greater Wichita Falls community, met with our consultants from Academic Search and began the process of reviewing and screening the applications of 53 candidates from a national applicant pool for the position of President of Midwestern State University. Eleven candidates were invited for interviews by the advisory committee.

Gabriel Armandariz Trial Begins
Wichita Falls, TX- A North Texas man accused of killing his two sons is set to appear in a Tarrant County courtroom Tuesday. In April of 2011, Young County Sheriffs said Gabriel Armandariz called 911 and told dispatchers he killed his two sons, but would not tell authorities where their bodies were located.

Wichita Falls City Council Approves Railcar Expansion Project
A business that is new to Wichita Falls is facing an expansion with the help of Wichita Falls city leaders. Tuesday morning, the Wichita Falls City Council amended the budget of the Economic Development Corporation to include up to $928,800 for the expansion of the Eagle Railcar Services Expansion Project.

Big Easy comes to Graham, America
Sweden-born Orange Kellin has been honing his musical skills in the United States since the Johnson administration, and next Tuesday, he'll bring his New Orleans jazz expertise to the Graham Memorial Auditorium. Kellin's show, "A Night in Old New Orleans," is the second-to-last for the Graham Concert Association's 2014-2015 season, and serves as one more show in what has constituted a diverse lineup that started last October with the Golden Dragons, a Chinese acrobat act.

Suspect Arrested for Assault on a Peace Officer
On Wednesday morning, around 11 a.m., a patrol officer with the Wichita Falls Police Department observed a white 2014 Dodge 1500 pickup parked at a local car wash in the area of Ridgeway and Iowa Park Rd. The officer recognized the vehicle as a possible stolen vehicle that was reported out of Vernon, Texas. When the officer approached the vehicle, he found that it was occupied by one white male, who was later identified as 27-year-old Marvin Sharp.

The Wichita Falls Police Department arrested a woman after an audit revealed a hefty amount of cash missing from a Wichita Falls car dealership. Police say 39-year-old Ladonna Lashelle Adams is charged with theft over $1500.

Marking Iwo Jima's 70th anniversary, Marine veterans plan visit to Pacific island, paper reports
Hershel "Woody" Williams, the last surviving Medal of Honor recipient from the Battle of Iwo Jima, receives a hero's welcome at Sheppard Elementary School in Wichita Falls, Texas on Friday, Feb. 13, 2015 along with about 30 other Iwo Jima survivors. He's among about 45 Iwo Jima veterans who plan to return to the island to mark the 70th anniversary of the World War II amphibious landing, Feb. 19, 1945.
