Monday was definitely an emotional day for many foster parents, of animals, who have just sent their furry friends to find a "fur-ever home". Thanks, in part, to the generosity of the Texoma community, 14 dogs are "em-barking" on a journey to New York, and new beginnings with new families.

Home Declared a Total Loss after Fire
Around 2:40 p.m., the Wichita Falls Fire Department responded to a house fire in the 1000 block of Westerly Place. Officials say there were two people living at the house, though only one person was there at the time of the fire.

Police Arrest Man for Evading and Possession
On July 10th, around 12:19 p.m., Wichita Falls Police Officers initiated a traffic stop in the 2800 block of Santa Fe on a white Impala. The driver was identified as 24-year-old Brandon Starr.

Police: Man Arrested After Nightclub Assault
A Wichita Falls man ended up in the Wichita County Jail after an incident that all began at a Wichita Falls nightclub. According to the arrest affidavit, police were dispatched to Denim and Diamonds shortly before 1 a.m. Friday morning to investigate an alleged assault of three women.

Man Charged with Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child
An investigation that began in September of last year lead to the arrest of a Wichita Falls man who is now accused of one count of Indecency With a Child and four counts of Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child. According to the arrest affidavit, the victim told investigators that Bowen had been doing the sexual abuse for the last two to two and a half years.
