Video surveillance from a home has landed two people behind bars for a string of car burglaries in a Wichita Falls neighborhood. Police interviewed Ronald Giner III after seeing a man matching his description entering two vehicles in the 2800 block of Elmwood on a homeowner's camera system.

Olney man arrested on federal child pornagraphy charges
A Young County man remains in federal custody after an arrest this week on charges of production of child pornography, according to U.S. Attorney John Parker of the Northern District of Texas. Authorities arrested Ryan Anthony Winner, 33, of Olney, on Monday, July 20. Winner made an initial appearance the next day before a Wichita Falls federal court Tuesday, July 21, where U.S. Magistrate Judge Robert K. Roach ordered that he remain in federal custody pending a July 28, 2015, probable cause and detention hearing.

DeSoto police are looking for two men wanted in connection with a broad-daylight jewelry store smash-and-grab involving the theft of six Rolex watches. Sgt. Chris Huerta, head of the department's Criminal Investigation Division, says the incident happened Monday around 11:30 a.m. at the Caves Jewelers on E.
