A man was sentenced to five years in the Texas prison system in the 89th District Court of Wichita Falls , Tex. Friday, Aug. 7 after pleading guilty to sexual assault charges, according to a report on local NBC TV affiliate Channel 3 News today.

According to the arrest affidavit, on August 7, 2015, around 7:14 a.m., The Wichita Falls Police Department executed a search warrant in the 1800 block of Buchanan Street, at the residence of 35-year-old Gene Jimenez. Jimenez was detained, and told investigators that he did have pornographic images of under-aged children on his personal laptop computer, and had both photographic images and videos depicting under-age children involved in sex acts with adults.
