Wichita Falls, Texas - The Wichita Falls-Wichita County Public Health District and Texas Healthy Communities have announced that twelve businesses and organizations in Wichita County have been designated as "Mother-Friendly." Mother-Friendly employers proactively support employees who choose to breastfeed their infants by providing time, space, and other support to maintain breastfeeding when a mother returns to work.

According to police, Jessie was last seen in Freer, Texas on February 24th, 2015 driving his white 1999 Ford Explorer. Jessie is described as a black male with black hair, brown eyes and thin build.

Two Arrested in Domanic Thrasher Murder Investigation
Wichita falls, Texas- Detectives with the Wichita Falls Police Department revealed in a press conference on Friday that they have served two murder warrants in connection to the June 2nd murder of Domanic Thrasher. Brooks is currently in custody in the Wichita County Jail on an unrelated Aggravated Robbery warrant.

Troopers receive new Raven UAS camera upgrade
The new configuration of the Raven R-11B Small Unmanned Aircraft System with the Gimbal payload, which allows for both day and night operations and gives the operator a nearly 360-degree view around the aircraft, replaces the old camera. Selected units received an upgrade to their Raven unmanned aerial systems during an initiative at Fort Hood, Texas, last week.

Police: Three Arrested After Traffic Stop
Wichita Falls, Texas Three suspects have been arrested after a traffic stop caused by the failure of a turn signal led to the discovery of drugs and drug paraphernalia in the backseat. According to police, on August 21st, around 11:50 a.m., an officer with the Wichita Falls Police Department stopped a blue Hyundai in the 1000 block of Denver for failing to signal a turn.

Lake Wichita Revitalization Project: Phase 1
"As far as I'm concerned, it's taking forever, but we're dealing with a project much larger than I ever expected," Steve Garner, Chairman of the Lake Wichita Revitalization Committee said. The total cost of the project is between $35-45-million and like many projects, funds are the driving force.
