Twelve Businesses Designated as Mother-Friendly in Wichita County

Wichita Falls, Texas - The Wichita Falls-Wichita County Public Health District and Texas Healthy Communities have announced that twelve businesses and organizations in Wichita County have been designated as "Mother-Friendly." Mother-Friendly employers proactively support employees who choose to breastfeed their infants by providing time, space, and other support to maintain breastfeeding when a mother returns to work.

Wichita falls, Texas- Detectives with the Wichita Falls Police Department revealed in a press conference on Friday that they have served two murder warrants in connection to the June 2nd murder of Domanic Thrasher. Brooks is currently in custody in the Wichita County Jail on an unrelated Aggravated Robbery warrant.

Wichita Falls, Texas Three suspects have been arrested after a traffic stop caused by the failure of a turn signal led to the discovery of drugs and drug paraphernalia in the backseat. According to police, on August 21st, around 11:50 a.m., an officer with the Wichita Falls Police Department stopped a blue Hyundai in the 1000 block of Denver for failing to signal a turn.
