Officers arrested 17-year-old Rakim Smith, 17-year-old Carson Logue, and a 13-year-old for engaging in organized criminal activity. Officials with the Wichita Falls Police Department said the incident happened around 6:30p.m. on Friday in the 1000 block of Hirschi Lane.

Marty Rowley would like four more years on the State Board of Education, and came to Lubbock to announce his re-election candidacy in September. Rowley, who represents 77 counties in West Texas and the Panhandle, including the communities of Amarillo, Lubbock, Midland, San Angelo, Abilene and Wichita Falls, said District 15 includes 207 school districts, with 180 of those having 5,000 or fewer students.
