A new device has been invented by a 13-year-old to tell if a driver has been drinking or used other drugs based on how dilated his or her pupils are. To check if drivers have consumed alcohol, a widely used method is to use breathalyzers, which measure the alcohol content in a breath sample, but not if they've had other drugs.

Large Drug Bust Along Highway 287
The Texas Department of Public Safety said they pulled over Garrett Aguilar on Highway 297 for a traffic violation near Iowa Park. During the traffic stop, the trooper called for assistance from the Wichita Falls Police Department K-9 unit.

Car Burglar Caught
Shortly after 8 p.m. Sunday, Wichita Falls Police were called for a car burglary in the 2200 block of Buchanan Street. During a search of the area, the suspect led police on a foot chase, dropping a backpack during the pursuit.

Homes Saved From Hacker Rd. Fire
Crews have contained a fire on Hacker Rd. in Iowa Park Wednesday afternoon. Wichita Falls, Iowa Park and Kamay Fire Departments battled the blaze that sparked a just before 12:30 p.m. 30 to 40 acres were burned in the fire.
