Just after 11:00 a.m. a pickup truck was involved in a minor accident that spilled debris on Highway 287 near Fisher Road.

Frenship teacher 'highly qualified' under No Child Left Behind guidelines
One hundred percent of teachers in the Frenship Independent School District have been classified as highly qualified for this school year, according to information given to Frenship's Board of Trustees Monday night. Rhonda Dillard, executive director of human resources, said 494 teachers, teaching 1,509 core academic classes are all highly qualified.

Local bicycle riders joined up with riders from throughout the area as they made their way to Corpus Christi this past Veterans Day. Abduction in Wichita Falls
Just before 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, the Wichita Falls Police Department responded to a call about a possible abduction in progress, near Avenue K. The victim told police that three suspects grabbed him at gunpoint at the Brigadoon Apartments and threw him into their vehicle, where they threatened him with a gun. Then police said the suspects drove to a residence in the 2300 block of Buchanan where they pulled a second victim from a vehicle and assaulted him before fleeing the scene.
