Wichita Falls Releases Independent Report Regarding Wastewater Deaths

The City officials of Wichita Falls has sent Newschannel 6 a copy of the independent report regarding the deaths of two city employees at the Wastewater Treatment Plant in July earlier this year. The report suggests four different theories of what caused the elevated levels of hydrogen sulfide gas to become deadly.

ABC, 24/7, Telemundo - Four accused Crips gang members were arrested Tuesday morning after five narcotics warrants were executed in Lubbock, according to officials with the Lubbock Sheriff's Office. These warrants were the result of an investigation into the Crips Street Gang distributing cocaine and cocaine base in Lubbock Texas.

The city of Wichita Falls sent Newschannel 6 a copy of the Wichita Falls independent internal investigation by Freese and Nichols who were contracted to look into what caused high levels of Hydrogen Sulfide to build up while Daniel Arredondo and David Sheppard were working on July 2nd.

Police said 60-year-old Roger Dale Aliff was the found just after 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday after a concerned citizen flagged down a member of the Wichita Falls Police Department. When the officer arrived at the scene they found that the Aliff had been shot twice.

A wanted man is behind bars after Wichita Falls Police served a warrant in the 1200 Block of Kenley on Thursday. As officers closed in on the home the suspect immediately climbed out a window of the home only to be met by another officer that was already outside of the premises.
