Wichita Red and the Songbird performs tonight at Live on the Lake on July 27. The concert started at 6:30 and last about two hours. Live on the Lake is hosted by the Wichita Falls Museum of Art at Midwestern State University.

Around 12:30 a.m. on Sunday the Wichita Falls Police Department was called out to the alley behind the 1600 block of Beverly Drive in reference to an unknown vehicle accident. The suspect told officers he had just purchased the vehicle a few hours ago, According to the arrest affidavit, the suspect did not have a bill of sale and did not know who the previous owner was.

A man was rushed to the hospital following an accident in the area of Henry S Grace Freeway and Southwest Parkway on Tuesday evening. Wichita Falls Police said around 6:30 pm a Ford Fusion was driving east bound on Southwest Parkway and attempting to take the loop that turns into Henry Grace Freeway when the driver lost control and had a minor accident.

A Wichita Falls man is behind bars charged with Tampering with or Fabricating Physical Evidence following a traffic stop Tuesday afternoon. Around 4:00 pm officers pulled over a vehicle for a traffic violation at the intersection of Mistletoe Dr. and Johnson Rd. Police could smell marijuana coming from the vehicle and asked the driver, Aaron Crawley, 21, to step outside the vehicle.
