A brawny cold front expected to sweep through the region overnight Thursday is right on schedule and packing gusty winds that could create havoc for outdoor ghosts and goblins and plastic jack-o-lanterns. The front will bring the autumn season's coolest air yet, with lows expected to drop into the high 40s.

On Sunday at 2:45 a.m., Wichita Falls police were called out to a disturbance in the 2400 block of Sheppard Access at Studio E. Police say the weapon was loaded and had a barrel length less than 16 inches and a total length less than 26 inches. A search at the Wichita County jail found Luckey to be in possession of numerous pills, including Codeine and Alprazolam.

Officials with the Texas Department of Transportation announced on Tuesday they plan to provide $60 million in funding for planning, constructing and maintaining community airports. 275 community airports in Texas are eligible for this funding including Kickapoo Downtown Airpark in Wichita Falls, Wilbarger County Airport, and Graham Municipal Airport.

Wichita Falls Police are asking the public to help identify two suspects wanted in an armed robbery of a convenience store on Halloween night. Around 7:15 p.m. officers were dispatched to the Phillips 66 in the 900 block of Kemp Blvd. in reference to a robbery with a weapon.
