Sealed Air adopts more than 300 angels for 'Christmas Angel' project
Employees from Sealed Air in Iowa Park and Wichita Falls are making sure hundreds of kids all around Texoma have something under their Christmas tree this year. The plant adopted more than 300 angels under Child Advocates- CASA of Red River, A World for Children and the Salvation Army, for their annual 'Christmas "It's something that our employees love to do," Mashun Tidwell, with Sealed Air said.

WF man arrested for sex crimes against a child
On September 9, 2016, the Wichita Falls Police Department was notified by CPS of an investigation that involved possible child sexual molestation. According to court documents, two victims, both 14-year-old girls at the time of the alleged abuse, said Juan Alberto Manrrique, 35, touched them inappropriately.

Harlem Globetrotters coming to Wichita Falls tonight
They will take the court at the Kay Yeager Coliseum at 7:00 p.m. The Harlem Globetrotters features the world's largest collection of elite dunkers, including six players who have competes in the annual College Slam Dunk contest held during the Final Four weekend, a Guinness World Record holder for slam dunks.

City of WF adding electronic fair system to bus service
A new electric fare system is coming to the Wichita Falls bus system after the city council passed a resolution to spend $141,000 on the project. The city has been considering it for years, but the price was too high.

Weaver met with a handful of voters and talked about his campaign that aims for a government that represents all Texans, and how his time in Texoma impacted his political views. Bobby Whiteley humbled by runoff election win
Bobby Whiteley won the Wichita Falls Councilor-At-Large runoff election with almost 69-percent of the votes against Penny Miller, who received almost 32-percent, on Saturday. Whiteley, a native Wichitan, said he felt humbled by the support of loved ones and the public.

Man arrested for attempted robbery at Cash Store
The arrest warrant stemmed from an incident on November 7. Around 4:03 p.m. officers were dispatched to the Cash Store on Southwest Parkway in reference to an attempted robbery. Employees said a black man, wearing a white bandana over his face, black pants, and white tennis shoes, and a dark colored top attempted to open the door of the store.

Trio arrested for organized criminal activity in Wichita Falls
Three people from Wichita County have been arrested and charged in connection with a burglary of a vehicle in July 2017. On July 9, officers with the WFPD were dispatched to a home in the 4800 block of Likins Circle in reference to a burglary of a vehicle.
