Wichita Falls city leaders believe they're making lots of progress on a project to bring a full-service Delta Hotel to the city, but a financial deal has still not been reached. Since Newschannel 6 reported in January that Gatehouse Capital and the city had a financial agreement tentatively reached for a new hotel, the city has had opportunities to sign and make it official.

The cold temperatures caused the Wichita Falls-Wichita County Public Health District to make some changes to its 12th annual Health Fair Saturday. "We had to make some changes last minute yesterday, we pulled all of our outside booths brought as many of those inside as we could so it did change some of what we've done over the past few years," said Director of Health Lou Kreidler.

Adam Matthew Hammond, 18, was arrested on March 27 following a call about a possible sexual assault of a child. According to the probable cause affidavits, Hammond is accused of having inappropriate sexual contact with an 8-month-old infant and purposefully injuring some puppies at his residence in the early morning of March 27. Hammond was taken into custody later that day and charged with Aggravated Sexual Assault, Obstruction or Retaliation and Cruelty to Non-Livestock Animals.
