A man is behind bars and a stolen truck is recovered following a traffic stop on Tuesday afternoon in Wichita Falls. Around 2 p.m. officers were on patrol in the 2100 block of Holliday when they saw a truck they knew was reported stolen on April 29. Police initiated a traffic stop on the corner of Holliday and Galveston.

A man and woman have been arrested in connection with a shooting at a home in E. Lincoln that left a man with multiple gunshots wounds. A traffic stop on Wednesday led to Brittany Whittaker, 26, and Colton Hobbs, 20, being taken down to the Wichita Falls Police Department for questioning.

A Wichita Falls non-profit held a fundraiser in Iowa Park that took event-goers to the past all to raise money for homeless veterans on Saturday. Frontier Days was the first event of the year for the North Texas Veterans Relief Fund to raise money for Base Camp Lindsey where these tiny homes will go to homeless war heroes.
