'The Interview' Set To HIt Texoma Big Screen
Sony Pictures controversial movie 'The Interview' will now be shown at a limited amount of theaters Christmas Day and will soon big on a big screen in Texoma. Mark Farr-Nash, owner of The Vernon Plaza Theatre an independent theatre in Vernon, Texas said prior to the film company's initial decision not to release it, he had plans on showing it.

Standoff In Texoma
Two intersections were closed down and blocked off just after noon Christmas day as one man threatened to take his own life. The man has yet to be identified by the Wichita Falls Police but they did say the man was armed with a knife.

Butler-to-Penn Wins Play of the Year Vote
Nearly 2,000 votes were cast for our High School Football Play of the Year competition, but in the end it was the Wichita Falls Coyotes who took the honors. Community Comes Together to Remember Texoma Teen
Balloons were released Monday evening at the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Wichita Falls honoring Gloria Montoya. Montoya and her cousin were killed in a wreck involving a former Wichita Falls Police Officer in June of 2011.
