Catalina Motel incident lands 3 in jail

Three people have been arrested following a call to the Wichita Falls Police on Monday morning. Around 9:33 a.m. officers were dispatched to the 2300 block of Jasper in reference to a kidnapping and assault.

On Tuesday morning, Wichita Falls city leaders will debate over whether or not to lay down additional sidewalk that would run along a bridge under Seymour Highway along an abandoned section of railroad and end at the road intersection of Johnson and Barnett. According to the Wichita Falls City Council Agenda, it will cost $2,443,106 for the proposed Circle Trail extension.

A Wichita Falls man is behind bars accused of sexually assaulting a child. WFPD were dispatched to a home in the 4300 block of Cunningham Drive in reference to a possible sexual assault of a child on Tuesday evening.

The search began on Wednesday morning around 10:23 a.m. in the area of Loop 11 and FM 367 at the Texoma Christian Care Center. Cariel Hardin, 76, was last seen walking westbound on FM 367 just west of Loop 11. Police said he was wearing a maroon and gray sweater and black pants.

Friday night around 11:55, Wichita Falls Police tried to make a traffic stop of a 2005 black Volkswagen in the area of Central Freeway and North 8th street. The driver of the car refused to stop and sent police on a pursuit and the suspect's vehicle was last seen by officers at the Jacksboro exit.
