Wichita Falls police arrested a 29-year-old woman after a child showed up at school with numerous injuries, including a bite wound. Police said the child's injuries were extensive, ranging from swelling and bruising to the eyes, scratches on the neck and a handprint on the face.

A Texas-based company is seeking a permit from the Oklahoma Water Resources Board for cloud-seeding operations that Lawton officials say could increase rain chances this spring and summer. The Lawton Constitution reports that the Lawton City Council has approved a contract with Seeding Operations and Atmospheric Research, which has performed cloud seeding services for other entities, including Wichita Falls, Texas.
