Woman Charged with Injury to a Child
Wichita Falls police arrested a 29-year-old woman after a child showed up at school with numerous injuries, including a bite wound. Police said the child's injuries were extensive, ranging from swelling and bruising to the eyes, scratches on the neck and a handprint on the face.

Wichita Falls police say a 17-year-old boy is arrested at Rider High School for what happened to an apple on the teacher's desk. Police say Kaden Deming was taken into custody Tuesday afternoon, and then charged with Tampering with a Consumer Product, a second degree felony.

Officers with the Wichita Falls Police Department arrested 54-year-old Ronnie Deford of Wichita Falls today on twenty counts for Possession of Child Pornography. On February 26th, WFPD Juvenile Detectives, along with SWAT, executed a search warrant at a residence in the 700 block of Indiana.

Company seeks cloud seeding permit from Oklahoma water board
A Texas-based company is seeking a permit from the Oklahoma Water Resources Board for cloud-seeding operations that Lawton officials say could increase rain chances this spring and summer. The Lawton Constitution reports that the Lawton City Council has approved a contract with Seeding Operations and Atmospheric Research, which has performed cloud seeding services for other entities, including Wichita Falls, Texas.

Convicted murderer of Wichita Falls man sentenced to prison
Former Wichita Falls man Brian Brinkman was shot dead by his wife Jennifer Brinkman on Dec. 30, 2006. His family members were shocked when the jury recommended probation rather than prison time for his blonde wife in a Tarrant County courtroom.

Wichita Falls Police are searching for a man involved in an armed robbery early Sunday morning. Two employees at Dollar General on Seymour Highway were closing up shop when an armed gunman forced them back inside the store around 1 a.m. The man had a black semi-automatic handgun with black clothing and a black mask, according to police.
